We see a lot of weddings at The Clubhouse at Peacock Gap! This year, we have noticed a few emerging trends that we hope will last for awhile. Details matter, and your details will give your wedding a once-in-a-lifetime personality and flavor. Two trends we love go hand-in-hand: color and texture - in linens, lighting and floral.
Linens come in all colors and fabrics, but we are now seeing linens that are laser cut to create texture and allow an under-linen to bring out color.
Be sure to ask your DJ to provide up-lighting for walls and dance floors to add just a touch of color and texture to an otherwise flat surface.
We have seen lovely botanical patterns and bright colors at some of our summer weddings. In spring, we saw branches of dogwood with blooms paired with succulents and roses – gorgeous! Floral arrangements have been incredible this summer – we love this trend of textures and colors:
